State Police boosts patrols during holidays

The New Mexico State police are ramping up their presence during the holiday season.

State Police will be conducting 57 saturation patrols and 15 sobriety checkpoints statewide starting Friday continuing into the new year.

The department is encouraging people to have a sober driver during the holidays to ensure all New Mexican make it to and from their travel destinations to spend time with friends and family.
