A Winter Storm Warning will stay in effect until 5 a.m. Sunday for the Jemez and Sangre de Cristo mountains and nearby areas.

Snow will spread into the Sandia/Manzano Mountains Saturday night and the neighboring Rio Grande Valley and could make roads slick.

Snow in the Albuquerque foothills is possible.

Snow will diminish prior to midnight for much of western New Mexico and the Rio Grande valley while continuing until the predawn hours Sunday for the northern mountains.
