The images are chilling. Marc Meltzer is seen on surveillance camera video sitting in a motel lobby, when he suddenly pulls a gun on manager, Bob Thompson. Now, we hear a terrified eyewitness calling for help while staring down the barrel of a gun.

That’s motel worker, Craig Warwick, on the phone with a 911 dispatcher as Meltzer follows him, his wife and Thompson into a room.

“Without saying a word just pointed the gun at my chest and pulled the trigger," described Thompson in a previous interview.

Luckily, the gun didn’t fire.

"He doesn't live here. He doesn't live here. He broke a window trying to break into a room," Warwick is heard saying to the dispatcher.

Friends said Meltzer had become extremely paranoid. He didn’t want to stay at his home because he was afraid of it.

911 call:

Operator: Ok. Get down, ok? I need you guys to get underneath the desk there.

Other people call 911 as more shots are fired.

This time, his gun worked.
