Small fire prompts evacuation La Luz Elementary

Firefighters say they have extinguished a small but very smoky fire at La Luz Elementary at 225 Griegos NW near 4th Street.
AFD says students were evacuated after the fire broke out in a trashcan in the boys restroom.
The faculty and children were able to return to class shortly afterward, AFD said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
