Vigil honors those who've died while homeless

A memorial vigil was held Thursday in Albuquerque to remember those who died from homelessness.
Supporters and local advocates first marched from Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless to the First United Methodist church downtown.
Then they held a vigil to raise awareness about homelessness.
Organizers estimated approximately 43 people in Albuquerque have died while homeless this year.
"It reminds you of the people that were out here - that were killed, you know died from being in the cold.," Antoinette Rogers said. "And it's always good to remember them."
Organizers say more than 3,600 men, women and children are homeless every night in Albuquerque.
