Wal-Mart is making its case Friday for a new store before an Albuquerque hearing officer.

Wal-Mart wants to build a store at Coors and Montano, but the city's Environmental Planning Commission voted against the proposal in November.

The large chain appealed that decision which is why the company is meeting with the city again.

Albuquerque's planning department tells KOB Eyewitness News 4 that no decision will be made Friday about the proposed store. The hearing officer has 15 days to come to decision that will be passed over to the city council who will then review it and make a final decision.
