Police I.D. suspected thief caught on video at Pizza 9

Police plan on charging a woman in the brazen theft of a woman's purse, caught on video at a local restaurant.
Albuquerque police tell us Gina Atencio is facing a misdemeanor charge in the Dec. 21 robbery at Pizza 9.
According to surveillance footage of the incident, a woman had her purse on the ground next to her as another woman calmly sat down in the booth behind the her.
The suspected thief took her time reading the menu, drinking her soda and looking around.
After several minutes and readjustments in her seat, the suspected thief moved her foot over, grabbing the purse an dragging it closer to her.
The suspected thief then grabbed the purse and covered it with her jacket.
Then she calmly got up, collected her stuff and left.
The woman in the booth next to her was oblivious to the entire incident.
The victim asked Pizza 9 to take a look at the surveillance video after realizing her purse was gone, and that's when she saw what happened.
The victim told KOB Eyewitness News 4 that the suspect actually left a note at her house on Christmas Eve. That note has been turned over to police.
