Angel Fire police tell the Taos News that a girl died after a sledding accident on New Years Day.
The unidentified girl died at about 5 p.m. Tuesday. According to the Angel Fire Village administrator, the 8-year-old was sledding when she slid into the street and was struck by a passing vehicle.
