APD arrests woman accused of nearly running over officer

Albuquerque police have caught a woman accused of nearly running over a police officer.

Police say the incident happened a month ago Ash St. near University and Martin Luther King where they were responding to a reported residential burglary.

When they arrived, they said Amber Sauceda tried to run over one of the officers. She ended up getting away.

Court documents state that officer was able to find Sauceda by cross referencing information in the department's databases.

She faces an aggravated assault of a peace officer charge.
