The parents of an 8-year-old boy believed to have been killed by wild dogs are facing charges of child endangerment.

The charges against Tomas Henio’s parents are related to the safety of Tomas’s brothers and sisters, who have been removed from the home.

Police said Tomas’s mother and stepfather were drunk the night Tomas died.

The F.B.I. is investigating the death because the boy was killed on tribal land.
