APD officer involved in car accident

An Albuquerque police cruiser was involved in an accident Wednesday afternoon on 4th Street at I-40.
According to police, the officer was on her way to work when she collided with another driver. The officer was transported to a hospital. The other driver was examined at the scene but appeared to be okay.
