Better than Bennett

The Lobos were physical with the all-everything postman from UNLV and in turn Anthony Bennett got in foul trouble. He finished with 12-points while Alex Kirk scored 23-points. Kirk finished with 9-rebounds while Bennett ended up with 6. The Lobos big men combined for 29-points and 15-rebounds. The real key to the game was that the Lobos went to the line 29-times, the Running Rebels only shot 5-free throws. It was another gutty win for UNM. Next up is Fresno State Saturday afternoon in the Pit.
