Obama signs burn pit bill

The president has signed another bill with New Mexico roots.
The measure would create a registry of burn pit victims.
Burn pits are used in war zones to burn trash.
The registry would track veteran's health problems due to the pits and update them on potential treatments.
Sen. Tom Udall has been pushing for the bill ever since meeting Master Sgt. Jessey Baca of Albuquerque. Baca has suffered health problems since being exposed to the pits in Iraq.
