For the first time an alleged victim in the Albuquerque arroyo molester case is speaking out.

The man, who is now in his 20's, took the stand Friday.

He was just 11 years old when police say he was raped in an Albuquerque arroyo.

He spoke about that day Friday including what he was wearing and what he could remember about who did it.

He also testified that after that day his life was never the same.

"It changes you,” he said. “You know, it changes how you think. It changes how you care for the people you love. You don't want anything like this, or any other bad thing to happen."

The man identified his attacker inside the courtroom as Genaro Sandoval.

Sandoval is accused of raping and molesting young boys in Albuquerque arroyos between 2003 and 2005.

This is the only case that has DNA evidence, but Sandoval's attorneys argues it's not enough for a conviction.
