University of New Mexico students start school Monday. But many of them have been eagerly awaiting school because of how good Lobo men's basketball has been this season.

The team is 15-2, beating three nationally ranked teams, twice away from The Pit. The Lobos are ranked #25 in the national poll as of Sunday.

Students are ready to get back in the stands.

"Yeah, I'm actually really excited. I'm planning on going next Wednesday with some of my roommates. So, we had talked about it and it's going to be really fun," Elena Vigil said.

"Oh yeah, it's awesome being a lobo fan. It's awesome to be back. Everyone loves it. It's great to see everyone walking around in lobo stuff," Carlos Garcia said.

But with the successful years come more demand for tickets. There have been two full sellouts in the 2012-2013 season so far, and six sellouts for the lower level of The Pit according to UNM on initial numbers.

"Oh yeah, even my family is like, 'give me a ticket,' and I'm like, I've gotta see them myself," Garcia said.

UNM tickets are available now at the Lobo ticket office, online or at Albertsons. The next home game is versus Colorado State, Wednesday January 23rd.
