Over the last few days, dozens of guns were handed over to an Albuquerque gun disposal program.

Monday, they were all destroyed.

We got a look at some of the guns that had been turned in during an event last weekend.

Monday we are told that about 90 guns, along with nearly 20,000 rounds of ammunition, were destroyed.

This isn’t the end of the gun disposal program.

It will continue every Saturday in January from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the APD crime lab at 2nd and Montano NW.
