Police arrest man who drove into Landry's pond

Police have released the name of a man who they say drove a car into the pond outside a local restaurant Monday night.
They say Michael Maestas, 29, has been arrested and charged with careless driving in connection with the incident.
The SUV he was driving landed in the pond in front of Landry’s restaurant at I-25 and Jefferson.
Maestas was wanted on two previous probation violations.
