Police have nabbed a suspected robber after a high speed chase through Albuquerque Thursday.

The chase ended near Carlisle and Garfield. The driver, an unidentified male, was taken into the police custody.

He was driving at high speeds, up to 80 mph, in heavy late afternoon traffic. And he had several close calls along the way: He closely passed several school buses possibly carrying children home from school.

The incident began when he robbed a Blake's Lotaburger armed with an unknown weapon.

Police tell KOB Eyewitness News 4 that they're looking for another suspect.
