Mesa del Sol backer wants out

The firm behind the Mesa del Sol project wants out.
Mesa del Sol is a 13,000 acre mixed-use community just south of the Sunport.
Forest City Enterprises came to Albuquerque in 2002 to start the project.
The group is now trying to sell its 3,000 acre portion of Mesa del Sol.
Forest City representatives said the sale will not affect development. That's because the group's partners will take over the project.
