ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Authorities in Albuquerque say a 30-year-old man faces multiple charges accusing him of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl whom he coached in arm wrestling.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department says Joseph Cordova was arrested Thursday on an arrest warrant after being interviewed by sheriff's detectives.

Deputy Aaron Williamson says the girl told authorities that Cordova assaulted her two years ago while she stayed at his home to train for a competition.

The sheriff's department says it doesn't know whether Cordova has an attorney.

However, a statement issued by department says Cordova admitted little during the interview but said everything that happened was consensual.
