A student from Del Norte High School has been suspended after posting what APS officials said was an inappropriate message on his Facebook page.

Administrators at the school were contacted by Albuquerque Police Monday morning after someone reported the message to APD.

APD conducted a search of the student as well as his home. No weapons were found.

School counselors are working with the student and his parents.
