A New Mexico lawmaker is hoping to get some free hunting licenses to disabled veterans.
Democrat Phillip Archuleta, of Las Cruces, introduced the bill.
He's proposing the Department of Game and Fish issue at least five, free elk hunting licenses to certain veterans.
Eligible veterans must have a service related disability certified by the Veterans Affairs Department.
