Every player on every team in the country has a role. Demetrius Walker's role is to supply instant offense. The catch for Steve Alford, you have to play defense. The Lobos beat the Nevada Wolf pack 75-to-62 in the Pit on Saturday night. Walker played a big part in the win finishing with 12-points. With Walker getting plying time again the Lobo bench will be a big factor going forward. The other player who is stepping up is Hugh Greenwood. The Lobos point guard has played outstanding ball in the Lobos last two wins. Along with Kirk, Williams and Snell the Lobos can get points at just about every position.
