Police identify motorcyclist killed in Tuesday crash

A motorcyclist who crashed on Tramway on Tuesday evening has died.
Police identified the man as Delone Artley, 23.
Artley was traveling southbound on the Tramway service road north of Lomas when he lost control and struck a vehicle heading north.
The driver of that vehicle told police she was driving at approximately 25 MPH when suddenly she observed Artley come into her lane and strike the left front of her bumper. She was not injured.
Artley was transported to UNMH in critical condition, where he died at about 4 a.m.
An investigation is continuing. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, but speed may have been.
Artley was wearing a helmet.
