Concerns over student safety have prompted the University of New Mexico to hold a campus safety forum Friday at 11 a.m. in the Student Union Building.
This comes after two separate groping incidents on campus.
The school has provided students with a list of safety tips to consider. One of those tips is to use the free, non-emergency campus escort service to get a ride home when it's dark and students feel unsafe.
KOB Eyewitness News 4 tested the service, asking two students at separate areas of campus to call.
The first response time was 12 minutes and the second was 3 minutes.
UNM says the difference has to do with where students and cars are located at the time.
They suggest students wait inside school buildings for the rides.
