Police ID pedestrian killed Sunday

Police have identified a woman killed while crossing Central near Juan Tabo on Sunday night.
She is Melissa Mexicano, 26.
Police say the accident happened around 7 p.m. Sunday.
They say she was not in a crosswalk when she was hit.
She was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
Police say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in the accident.
