UNLV freshman Anthony Bennett is projected to be a first round pick in the NBA draft this summer if he decides to leave school early.  Some even predict he could be the #1 overall pick.  Doug Gotlieb from CBS Sports and Seth Davis from Sports Illustrated have both recently praised Bennett as one of the top players in the country.

Bennett scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds against the Lobos on Saturday.  UNM's Cameron Bairstow and Kendall Williams were both asked about the NBA potential of Bennett.  "I think he's worthy of that discussion," said Cameron Bairstow.  "He's definitely a great player.  The things he can do on the floor are pretty hard to find."

"As a team we've gone up against some NBA talent," explained Kendall Williams.  "He's one of the best individual talents we've gone up against.  He really impressed me."

Bennett leads the Mountain West in scoring averaging over 18 points a game.
