Down But Not Out

Steve Alford will tell us the Lobos were flat in the first half against FSU. The second half belonged to UNM as the Lobos outscored the Bulldogs 34-to-17. New Mexico clamped down on the Dawgs and finished the game on a 9-nothing run. It wasn't a thing of beauty, but a road win is a road win and the Lobos will take a bunch of 'em. UNLV was dumped by Air Force in Colorado Springs and now the Rebels are 5-and-5 in conference. CSU remains a half game back of the Lobos as they beat SDSU in Fort Collins.
