Albuquerque animal lovers will get their first chance to see baby rhino Chopper on Saturday at the Albuquerque BioPark.

The 15-week-old rhino calf will make his public debut in the Rhino Exhibit from 10 a.m. to noon.

He arrived in Albuquerque in mid-November.

After Saturday, Chopper will be out in the exhibit a few hours each day, but the schedule will vary.

Guests can visit the zoo Facebook page here, call 311 or ask a zoo cashier for the day’s schedule.

Watch KOB on Saturday for coverage of Chopper’s debut.
