KOB Eyewitness News 4 continues to dig into the officer-involved crash that killed a National Guard member last weekend.

The vehicle Ashley Browder was in was hit by an Albuquerque Police Department SUV vehicle at the intersection of Paseo del Norte and Eagle Ranch.

Police said Sgt. Adam Casaus was looking for a drunk driver when the crash happened.

KOB 4 asked for a detailed log of the calls Casaus was assigned the night of the crash. Those documents indicated no dispatch for Casaus to look for a drunk driver.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m.

The last dispatch to Casaus, according to the log, was just before 10 p.m.

Casaus has been assigned to desk duty since the crash.
