When you watch the Lobos they will do two things, play defense and shoot free throws.

Now when they do those two things they win games. Saturday night, the Lobos beat Boise State 60-to-50. They held the Broncos to 37-percent shooting. Boise State may be the best offensive team in the conference, but they scored 50-points. The Lobos shot 35-percent but they hit 19-of-25 free throws. That is a recipe to win games. The Lobos are 22-and-4 and 9-and-2 in conference, every other team in the MWC has at least 5-losses with the exception of Colorado State. The Lobos have a couple of those games on the horizon. The Lobos go to CSU next Saturday and a week from Wednesday they will play host to San Diego State. As for CSU, they still have 3-difficult road games. They have to go to UNLV, Boise State and Wyoming. It should be a great race, so just enjoy.
