Teen falls 35 feet through skylight at Taylor Middle School (UPDATED)

A teenage boy was injured Monday when he fell through a skylight at Taylor Middle School.

According to the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department, four juveniles were on the roof of the school building when one of them stepped onto a skylight above the gymnasium. The skylight broke and the juvenile fell through to the floor below.

The individual was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital, where he is being treated with serious injuries.

According to APS offficals, the skylight is around 35 feet from the floor.

BCSO told KOB Eyewitness News 4 that no charges are pending against the four juveniles.

The school is located at 8200 Guadalupe Trail NW in Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. School was not in session Monday because of the Presidents Day holiday.
