The FBI says a man suspected of robbing a Bernalillo bank Tuesday has been arrested.

The FBI says Curtis James Reano, 34, an enrolled member of the San Felipe Pueblo, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the robbery of a Wells Fargo branch, 239 Highway 550, in Bernalillo.

Witnesses say a man walked into the bank and handed a teller a note that demanded money. The suspect left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Reano is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Albuquerque on Wednesday.

The U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs, Bernalillo Police Department and Kewa (Santo Domingo) Tribal Police assisted in the investigation.
