I-40 eastbound to remain closed until Tuesday morning

I-40 eastbound will remain closed from Louisiana NE to the Texas state line until Tuesday morning due to poor weather conditions.
The National Weather Service is reporting that up to 10 inches of snow has fallen between Tucumcari on the north and Clovis and Portales on the south, with more snow and strong winds expected on Tuesday.
The freeway remains open to westbound traffic.
