Despite a scoring error at the state wrestling meet, Cleveland and Rio Grande will remain co-champions.

The NMAA confirmed on Monday there was a discrepency in the 106 pound weight division.  Cleveland was incorrectly deducted a point.  The correct 5A team scores should have been Cleveland 197 and Rio Grande 196.

The NMAA said the situation could not be corrected because the error was not pointed out within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the meet.  Cleveland and Rio Grande will remain co-champions.
