Police have released more details about a pedestrian death that happened Wednesday on the city’s West Side.

They say a 36-year-old woman was driving with two children, aged 7 and 6, south on Coors and through a green light near St. Joseph's at 8:27 p.m. when a man darted out in front of her vehicle.

The man, 47, was apparently in the center median before entering the road. He was not in a crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicle and killed at the scene.

His next of kin has not yet been confirmed.
