Proposed measure aims to protect P.E. class

A state senator says a measure he's proposed is backed by more than 75 health organizations.    

Sen. Tom Udall's bill aims to protect health and physical education classes from budget cuts.

The measure would classify them as core subject - like math and science.

The move would make the classes eligible for federal funding and support.
