Section of 2nd Street closed due to road collapse

A section of 2nd Street just north of Prosperity Avenue will be closed until late Wednesday afternoon.
The closing was necessitated due to the road collapsing as a result of a water main break.
Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority will be repairing the water main and will be replacing about 100 feet of pipe.
A detour is available from 2nd Street to Rio Bravo Blvd. to Broadway Blvd. to Prosperity Avenue.
