ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The New Mexico Republican Party's Lincoln Day dinner on March 23 will feature a rising star in Texas politics.

The dinner's keynote speaker will be George P. Bush, son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and a grandson of former President George H.W. Bush.

George P. Bush has announced plans to seek statewide office in Texas next year but he hasn't yet said which one.

Land commissioner is a possibility, but he's also been mentioned as a possible contender for attorney general or even governor.

The dinner is being held at an Albuquerque hotel.
