A helicopter experienced a hard landing Thursday afternoon near Eagle Nest.
A hotel owner in the area said he saw the helicopter go down in a field nearby.
The passengers and the pilot all walked away from the incident.
They were heading home from Oregon to Arkansas
It’s not clear what caused the hard landing.
