Jury: City, cop to pay Ellis family more than $10 million

After a two-day deliberation, the jury in an Albquerque Police Department wrongful death case has awarded the family of shooting victim Kenneth Ellis more than $10 million.

The jury ordered the city of Albuquerque to pay more than $7 million and the officer who shot Ellis to pay more than $2 million.

Ellis was shot to death by an APD officer in 2010.
