Gun bill may get its day in the Roundhouse

It's the only gun bill in New Mexico that has a chance of passing, but lawmakers have less than 24 hours to get it done.

The Senate currently has the bill that would require criminal background checks at gun shows.

Some opponents of the bill have said the law is unenforceable.

It's not clear when the Senate will vote on the legislation.

Gov. Susana Martinez said she would sign the bill if it gets to her desk.
