The "Breaking Bad" bill came back from the dead Friday evening at the Roundhouse.
The bill remerged from the crypt as HB 641 and the House Business and Industry Committee voted to pass it in an eleventh hour move.
The bill, which is identical to the previous one, would increase the state's film rebate to 30 percent for television series shooting at least six episodes in New Mexico and would also carry over up to $10 million in unused film tax credit money for use in future years.
The bill has to run through the gauntlet and make its way through both chambers of the legislature as well as each of their respected committees again before it can head to the governors desk.
