The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity at the University of New Mexico is temporarily suspended because of an incident that allegedly happened last Monday night.
According to UNM, an 18 year old female student was at a party where alcohol was being served. She told police she went to a fraternity member's room and only remembers waking up and feeling sick. She was checked out by a University nurse. That nurse called police, which is required. University Police are now investigating whether a sexual assault took place.
The member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity being investigated says he didn't have sex with the woman.
