On Monday, child abuse prevention advocates will march in Albuquerque and Santa Fe to raise awareness about the issue and to motivate people into action.

The "Million March Against Child Abuse" in Albuquerque will meet at 10 a.m. at Civic Plaza and start at 11 a.m.

All are invited; they should wear blue and meet at the water fountains before marching toward the courthouses on Lomas.

In Santa Fe, a march will begin at 11 a.m.; anyone who wants to walk should meet on the East side of the Capitol building.

Organizers say this is the first nationwide walk for the cause.
