A Chinese restaurant in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque is hosting some guests you wouldn’t expect.

A mother owl and her two babies have been nesting inside the sign at the Best Lee’s restaurant at 7900 Carmel Ave. NE.

People have been stopping by every day to check out the family of owls. They’ve been taking pictures, trying to get a glimpse.

"I think that’s awesome. I think it's very awesome. Very cool, very cool, right here in the middle of the city," Molly Herliska said.

The owls are believed to have been nesting at the restaurant for at least two months.

If you do go to check them out, remember to be respectful of the birds.
