A recent poll shows Gov. Susana Martinez is on the radar of some Republican voters for president in 2016.

Public Policy Polling surveyed Republican voters in New Hampshire to see who they think they would vote for in 2016. Sen. Rand Paul (R- Kentucky) led the poll with 28 percent. Martinez got 3%.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 took a look at Public Policy Polling's past poll to gauge those figures.  In 2007, a very similar poll showed Mitt Romney with just 6 percent.  Just three years later in 2010, another poll had him at 41 percent.  Then, he won the Republican primary and ran against President Obama in 2012.

Martinez's office released this statement on the poll:

"Governor Susana Martinez is completely focused on being New Mexico's governor, working to reform education and help small businesses in our state create more jobs. She is not pursuing any other office."
