Officer won't be charged in shooting

An Albuquerque police officer won't be charged in a shooting. Sgt. Jason Peck shot Dominick Mora-Solis last year.

The shooting occuredin the parking lot of the Furr's restaurant at Coors and Iliff. Police were there for an undercover drug sting. They say when officers approached Mora-Solis, he waved a gun at them.

Mora-Solis survived the shooting.

The Bernalillo District Attorney’s Office told the Albuquerque Police Department there was no probable cause to file charges against the officer.
