Two Bernalillo County deputies who shot and killed a man wanted for murder will not face charges.

Deputies Matthew Yolk and Morgan Bryan shot Jerry McDonald during a chase last year.

Investigators say McDonald shot at the deputies first. He was wanted for the murder of 18-year-old Amanda Wiley.

Wiley’s naked body was found last year in a ditch near Edith and Osuna.

The Bernalillo District Attorney announced Friday the shooting was justified.
