The Santa Fe Police Department is changing the look of their police cars to cut down on crime.

Today, they debuted their new cars. The red, white and blue logos have been replaced with classic black and white.

Santa Fe Police say statistics show the black and white color curb crime.

The units also have up-to-date technology, including a new rumble siren system to help alert people.

The switch is similar to the change Albuquerque Police made made to its units.
